About AlaskaStockPrints.com:
AlaskaStockPrints.com is a division of Alaska’s largest stock photo agency, Alaska Stock Images. At Alaska Stock Images we represent over 150 professional photographers and market their photography for commercial applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazine articles and websites. Because of the popularity of some of our photographers’ images, we have made AlaskaStockPrints.com an area where you may order these award-winning photographers’ images to put on your home or office walls as décor prints and other gift items (please see a complete list at Products/Prices). Select one or more photos from over 60,000 images and have a print or gift item printed just for you by our professional photo lab. Our photo lab then sends your order straight to your door or to whomever you wish.
The Photographers:
Our photographers are all professional editorial, corporate, advertising and/or stock photographers who make their living from their photography. Many are award-winning photographers who have had their work published world-wide in calendars, magazines, corporate publications and advertisements. The photographers whose work appears on this site are listed in the left column.
The Photos:
The photos you see on this site were selected by the photographers for there appeal as wall-décor prints. Many of the photos have been published before in magazines, advertisements or as greeting cards, motivational posters or calendars.
We’ve attempted to give you as much information about the photo as possible. On each print gallery page, below the image, you can read where the photo was taken. Most of the photographs were shot in the wilds of Alaska and the majority of the wildlife was photographed in the wild. However in some cases the animals were photographed in a controlled environment such as a zoo. If that's the case, the caption under the photo says "captive." Some photos were digitally enhanced by correcting the color, adding another element etc. If that's the case, the caption under the photo says "enhanced" or “composite.”
All the photos have been prepared to give the truest colors possible. However, not all computer monitors are the same. We cannot guarantee that the colors of the print you see on your monitor will be matched in the print, but they will match the colors the photographer saw when he took the photo.
